YD UK: God Sends a Seeking Heart During Exam Season – A Divine Appointment in the U.K.

In the midst of the demanding exam season, God opened a door for His work once again. On May 15, 2025, a spiritually thirsty soul named Seni, a first-year university student born and raised in the U.K., encountered the gospel in a profound way.

Seni had been praying for a Christian fellowship on campus where she could grow in faith and connect with others. Upon meeting the minister, she was moved to share that this meeting was, without a doubt, God’s answer to her prayers.

She began studying Romans 1 with the minister, engaging deeply with each verse. As they read, Seni honestly reflected on her own life and the state of society. She confessed that although she had fallen short of God’s glory many times, she felt that God never let her go. His grace had continually embraced her, drawing her back time and again. Now, she earnestly desires to learn more about God’s love and truth through regular Bible study.

Seni also plans to attend Sunday worship and join the sports fellowship in the coming week. Please join us in praying that she would grow steadily and deeply in the Word of God. Let us also pray for the minister, who is currently reaching out to three other potential students-that they, too, may be raised as future leaders to carry forward the mission of Christ on their campus and beyond.
